Pitard to pay stamp duty at recently completed Elsternwick apartments, EVA
Builder developer Pitard is adding an incentive for buyers of its recently completed Elsternwick apartment development Elsternwick Village Apartments (EVA).
They'll pay stamp duty for the apartments, which start from $610,000 for the one-bedrooms. The three-bedroom apartments are priced at $3.75 million.
Buyers of the one-bedroom apartments would save around $2,111 in stamp duty, while the two-beds priced at $885,000 would be closer to $48,000 in savings. The three-bed buyers could save around $223,000.
Positioned on prized Glen Huntly Road, Elsternwick Village Apartments feature a Hamptons style fit-out, high-end fixtures and fittings including natural timber flooring, double-glazing, noise-cancelling acoustics, and European appliances.
Elsternwick Village Apartments is just moments from Elwood Beach and Elsternwick Park.
The VIC Government has implemented a phased-in duty structure for eligible first-home buyers who choose a property with a dutiable value falling between $600,001 and $750,000.
In this range, buyers will not experience a complete waiver but will see a gradual introduction of the stamp duty obligation. There is no stamp duty payments for property under $600,000.
In addition to the stamp duty incentive, first home buyers stand to benefit from the government's $10,000 First Home Owner Grant (FHOG).
Eva Elsternwick completed construction in July 2023.
